Insecurity

Lately, I've been dealing with a couple of things mentally. Things I wish I could cast out and not have to worry about. As anyone else would, naturally. Both stem from being insecure. And the infuriating part is I know that's what they are based on, but I continue to have issues. 

Step 1

We admitted that we were powerless over our addiction, that our lives have become unmanageable.  ~Step One    

Three months after my relapse, 2 rehabs, 69 questions later, I went over my first step with my sponsor.

Abandonment

I've been thinking about this one for a while now. I discussed in detail in groups in rehab and with the therapists in rehab. I know it’s a common thing in addicts, the fear of abandonment. Our lives are such chaos when we are using, that we look for anything that can become a constant in our lives.
